- this week's successful move (no one died!) :) for our family to our old stompin' grounds in Edmond; we were open to most any area in the metro, but God led us to Pebble Creek on Danforth (192nd) and Santa Fe Rd.
- Our awesome co-op (Keystone)...huge blessing to kids and to me -- a better group of families you will not find -- fellow moms with unbelievable heart for teaching -- it's a beautiful thing!
- Scott's ability to be treated at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston
- Just an awesome peace God's given all of us that any trials will be used for our good. Or someone else's good...it doesn't matter! :)
Prayer Requests:
- for all of Scott's tests to show no melanoma recurrence
- for God to ease Scott's (okay...we'll say 'marginal amount') of anxiety about trip and results he might hear. It comes from a father's heart...never wanting to leave his family un-Scottified ;)
- God's provision for all aspects of his trip; some things are a faith walk at times
- Peace for kids during Scott's trip and tests this week; it's impossible to keep 100% of 'scary stuff' from conversation...and I think Scott and I would have to learn to speak some long-dead ancient language, in order for our two not to figure out at least part of the convo...I don't know how they do it! :)

Christy - please use me as a resource when you change your diet, that's one area I know I can help in. And honestly, if I was going through what you are, I would probably just lock myself up in a closet and not come out for awhile. Your family is so blessed to have you. If you want us to grind you some wheat for your bread let me know, seriously. :)
Christy, I just now saw this post, I didn't know it was here.
I am so eager to get home to see you... I have some thoughts that I want to share with you; I think they might help in some of your more DOWN moments. They are all about God, of course.
We pray fervently for your household, and I mean FERVENTLY. The Word says that the prayer of a righteous man avails MUCH. And, yes, I am a righteous man through Jesus Christ.
May God bless you even at this moment, with a huge load of PEACE, enough for you, Scott, Abbey and Jake.
